Sowing time: Sow sweet peas in autumn and overwinter them in a cold greenhouse, or sow them in late winter/early spring (February to March). Use root trainers or deep pots to encourage strong root development.
Planting out: Plant outdoors from the end of March onwards, once plants are well established.
