Rose seeds

£2.20

WHY I LOVE IT

Growing roses from seed is an incredibly rewarding (and fun) thing to do. They take patience and might not flower the first year but will be a unique rose which may share some traits of the parents.

Sow: October–November
Seeds: Approx. 10
Good for: Cut flowers · Edible flowers · Seed saving

GROWING NOTES

A period of cold can help break dormancy and improve germination.

SEED SAVING

Allow a few flowers to mature fully and collect the seed once it is ripe and dry. Store somewhere cool, dry and labelled.

Grown, harvested and packed by Missenden Seeds in the Chiltern Hills. Open-pollinated and grown without chemical pesticides or peat.
